My Journey to design

If you would have asked me what I wanted to be as a child, I would’ve told you that I wanted to be a lawyer or an English teacher. Never in my mind did it occur to me that becoming a wedding designer could have been a possibility for me.

If you were to ask my mom for a memory of my as a child, she would tell you about how I used to make dresses out of tissues for my Barbie dolls. From a young age, my imagination ran wild with all the things that I could create. I take after my mom a lot in that sense.

Some of my earliest memories consisted of her drawing and me copying her. She had many talents that I found myself picking up years later. From sewing, to knitting, to nail art, my mom did it all. Looking back now, it is no surprise to me that I took after my mom in my ability to create and design.
